“We had another reservation that fell thru and I’m so glad it did. This home was one of a kind and so spacious. You can really see the care put into curating every piece in the home. It was in a beautiful neighborhood that is so close to everything. The city of Detroit has so much to do and see, but I honestly could have spent my days relaxing in the house. Our favorite thing to do was turn on the old style radio and pull out the board games every evening. Niah, the wonderful host, was the cherry on top of an already amazing trip. 10/10 recommend booking with them.”
“This beautiful home and incredible hosts deserve 10 stars. Checkin was super easy and the hosts always responded quickly if we had a question. They spared no expense when decorating this turn of the century home in the Boston-Edson district. It was a wonderful mix of old and new and we LOVED sitting in the front room looking outside. The bedroom were large, the beds were comfortable and linens were high end. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook and the appliances were top notch. We loved the location as it was close to downtown and all things Detroit. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to family & friends. “This was such a beautiful home - exactly like the photos but somehow even nicer - but what I’ll remember are Niah and Owen’s thoughtfulness and genuine concern for the comfort of my family. We had 2 stays a week apart, during a prolonged heat wave with temps in the 90s and very high humidity. When we returned for our second stay, we were amazed to find they’d installed an AC unit in the 3rd floor bedroom that was a total game changer. It so effectively mitigated the heat that my 2 nephews ended up lounging and relaxing up there. The central AC kept the rest of the house comfortable for my family of 7. The house is gorgeously styled and has several comfortable sitting areas for conversation, reading, games, or watching TV, and the bathrooms and kitchen were absolutely spotless. The neighbors were also super friendly and the house is on a peaceful, quiet street. Thank you Niah and Owen for being such caring and responsive hosts, I hope we can visit your beautiful home again soon!”
